Pique Dame and Tosca at The Latvian National Opera
This February, Maestro Wilson returns to The Latvian National Opera to conduct two operas: Tchaikovsky’s Pique Dame and Puccini’s Tosca. Ms. Wilson is no stranger to either. She conducted Pique Dame previously in Stockholm and Tel Aviv, and she has conducted Tosca at many of the world’s leading houses, including Munich, Vienna, the Bolshoi and the Arena di Verona.
The Pique Dame production of Andrejs Žagarsstars Aleksandrs Antoņenko as Herman, Tatiana Trenogina as Lisa, and Ilona Bagele as the Countess. The Tosca production of Dmitry Berman features Dana Bramane as Tosca and Raimonds Bramanis as Cavaradossi.
