Aids-Stiftung Gala at the Deutsche Oper Berlin

On November 27th, Maestro Wilson will proudly lead the Aids-Stiftung Gala at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, a special concert to raise funds for the German Aids Foundation, which has been helping Aids victims and HIV sufferers since 1987. She will be joined by international opera stars Asmik Grigorian, Pretty Yende, Nicole Car, Aida Garifullina, Rihab Chaieb, Edgardo Rocha, Jonathan Tetelman, Alex Esposito, and Etienne Dupuis, along with the Ensemble Solisten der Deutschen Oper Berlin, the Orchester der Deutschen Oper Berlin, and the Chor der Deutschen Oper Berlin. The German AIDS Foundation uses the proceeds from the gala concert to support its work in Germany and South Africa. In addition, the gala provides a public forum for up to date information about its humanitarian efforts. Since this concert could not take place last year because of the pandemic, Maestro Wilson is especially pleased to participate in what has become an important annual event in Berlin's cultural calendar.
